Eezora is a Ko-Matoran medic.

History[]

Early Life[]

Like many Ko-Matoran, Eezora was created in the waning days of the Core War on Spherus Magna to construct the Great Spirit Robot. Once the project was completed, he moved to the island-city above its Core Processor. Initially he took on the role of Messenger in the district of Ko-Metru, but this changed after the Awakening. Uninterested in the Seer occupation that most other Ko-Matoran coveted, instead chose to, quote, "focus his energies on the present".

He spent as much time in the schools of Ga-Metru as possible, sitting through numerous lectures on a variety of topics and fields. He sat through dozens before one finally caught his attention. It was a lesson on Matoran physiology, showcasing the organs and innerworkings of their bodies. Eezora devoted himself to the medical disciplines, eventually graduating with several of such degrees with a minor in Engineering. He set up a clinic at the border between Ga-Metru and Po-Metru soon afterwards.

He lived a relatively peaceful life for several millennia. The most severe injuries he tended to were often from Chute accidents. Things changed around 79,500 years ago when disrupts between between Ta-Metru and Po-Metru escalated into civil war. Though his people initially attempted to negotiate a peaceful end between both parties, they eventually sided with the Po-Matoran after many failures. Eezora refused to fight in the war, remaining neutral and treating anyone who came to his clinic. Any pressure or attempts to pull him in fell on deaf ears.

Near the end of the war one of Mutran's Rahi creations stumbled across and attacked his clinic. Several of his employees died rescuing their patients (or at least trying to). Eezora's hands were ruined in the chaos and he found himself unable to treat his clients. His business in ruins and his friends mauled, Eezora left Metru Nui for Karzahni in the hopes of salvaging his career. To his horror, the ruler lacked the proper knowledge to heal him and instead rebuilt him into a weaker form. This threw Eezora into a furious rant at the self-proclaimed monarch, and was in an hour-long argument with him. In retaliation he smashed his Kanohi Rau and almost allowed him to go comatose. Ashamed of his actions, Karzahni gave him a new mask, Frostbite Claws, and sent him to the Southern Continent.

Rebuilt[]

He would settle in the region of Voya Nui, disgruntled at his predicament. A Turaga of Magnetism by the name of Jovan became their chieftain years later, making it his duty to uplift their spirits. One day he approached the old doctor and asked for his story. Though he was hesitant to bring up his past, further visits from the sage convinced him to open up. Jovan than suggested that he attempt to rebuild his career by taking on an apprentice. At first Eezora was offended by the idea, but he relented after Jovan pointed out that a new medic could potentially undo Karzahni's handiwork.

He selected a Ta-Matoran by the name of Myabrak, taking note of his engineering skills and relatively intact hands. He spent years attempting impart his medical knowledge onto the younger Matoran, but his Claws complicated and often compromised their lessons. Things would change when the Great Cataclysm struck. Their territory was ejected from the main homeland and many- including Jovan- lost their lives. Eezora only survived thanks to Myabrak's training. Though the two of them mourned their lost friends, the tragedy did solidify their relationship.

Eezora and Myabrak often found their hands full during their time on Voya Nui. With a considerable lack of recourses, the two were forced to get creative with their treatments. The pressure became too great for Eezora and he promptly retired, leaving for the village of Mahri Nui and cutting off all contact with his friends. This abrupt departure came across as him abandoning his duty to them. Myabrek went to confront him over this, but by the time he reached the elder's doorsteps, Mahri Nui fell into the ocean. He and every villager present survived thanks to the Air Bubbles released in the disaster. Eezora's claws were mutated into a more flexible and fluent form, giving him a second chance at surgery. He opened up a new clinic and resumed his tutoring with Myabrek, extending his teachings to other employess as well. On at least three occasions he was elected as head of the Matoran Council.

He was among the Matoran evacuated into the Nui Caves when both lands returned to the Matoran Universe. He later fled to Spherus Magna after its restoration, when the Great Spirit Robot became inhospitable. He would serve as a bodyguard and personal doctor to Juleva, joining him on an exhibition to the Great Jungle. As of yet, none of them have returned.

Abilities and Traits[]

Eezora Life Metru

While the Ko-Matoran of Metru Nui were famous for their quiet and forward-looking nature, Eezora was not so. He was a restless soul searching for purpose in his youth and had little love or patience for the Seer occupation. This sort of wanderlust led him to discovering his talent for medicine and healing, and only then did he finally settle. The Matoran Civil War and Karzahni's poor skills in repairs left him in a crotchety mood, however, and he adopted a more cynical worldview as a result. This pessimism began to die out after taking Myabrek under his tutorage and he gradually warmed back up to the world. His patience saw little improvement during his time in Mahri Nui and held a perfectionist attitude towards his employees. He has also shown a more headstrong attitude whenever he was pressed into combat, exploiting his medical knowledge against his foes.

As a Ko-Matoran, he's much more resistant to extremely low temperatures then most Matoran. He is a skilled medic, capable of healing residents of the Matoran Universe (though his knowledge regarding the Spherus Magnans is currently lacking).

Mask and Tools[]

In Metru Nui he wielded a Kanoka Disk Launcher and bore a powerless Noble Rau. Upon arrival in Karzahni he was stripped of those and given new gear. His current Kanohi is currently unknown, and it bears a functioning scope. He primarily wields Frostbite Claws, which can be used to numb part of the target's nervous systems. This can be used for medical purposes or disorienting an opponent in combat.

He also carries a set of Electro-Blades from Mahri Nui, and has since had his Air Launcher modified to be used with a number of objects.

Forms[]

As a resident of the Matoran Universe, he can be rebuilt into a number of different forms.

Picture Form Description
Eezora Metru Original His original bodytype.
Eezora Karzahni Karzahni The form Karzahni rebuilt him into.
Eezora Mahri Mahri Nui His mutated form upon being exposed to the Pit's mutagen-infested waters. He narrowly avoided being a water-breather thanks to a field of Airweed.
