The EMPEROR TERIDAX universe is an alternate universe where, in the Battle of Bara Magna, Makuta Teridax killed Mata Nui and became the emperor of the universe.

Toa Resistance

The resistance fighting back against Teridax's Regime. Made up mostly of Toa and their allies.

• Hahli - Former Toa Mahri of Water, now the leader of the resistance fighting back against Teridax's Regime.
• Orde - Toa of Psionics, and Hahli's right hand man.
• The Shadowed One - The former leader of the Dark Hunters, now acting as a valuable ally to Hahli and the Toa Resistance.
• Lariska - A powerful and deadly Dark Hunter who acts as The Shadowed One's second in command.
• Brutaka - Powerful former member of the Order of Mata Nui, now acting as one of the leaders of the resistance.
• Onua - Former Toa Nuva of Earth, now acting as one of the leaders of the resistance.
• Krakua - Toa of Sonics and former member of the Order of Mata Nui, now acting as a member of the resistance.
• Norik - Former Toa Hagah of Fire, now a member of the resistance.

Teridax's Regime

The oppressive government that rules over the galaxy with an iron fist, crushing all that stands against it in it's wake.

• Emperor Teridax - The Emperor of the Universe, and leader of the Regime.
• Nektann - A Skakdi warlord who serves as Emperor Teridax's right hand.
• Lewa - The former Toa Nuva of Air, now corrupted to blindly serve Teridax's Regime.
• The Piraka - Six Skakdi warriors and former Dark Hunters who have become lieutenants in Teridax's Regime.

Neutral Parties

People who have survived the Fall and taken refuge elsewhere in the galaxy.

• Takanuva - The Toa of Light, and one of the only people who can truly fight back against Emperor Teridax. Now wanders the galaxy, seeking to help those in need and fighting back against Teridax's forces.

• Jaller - The ex-Toa Mahri of Fire who has abandoned the Toa code and become a bounty hunter.
  • Matoro - A ghostly manifestation of Jaller's guilt that haunts his every action.

• Kopaka - Former Toa Nuva of Ice who lost an arm in the Fall. Resides on a barren ice planet with Pohatu.
• Pohatu - Former Toa Nuva of Stone who managed to escape the Fall. Resides on a barren ice planet with Kopaka.
• Gali - Former Toa Nuva of Water, marooned on the remains of Bara Magna and struggling to survive in the Wastes.
• Karzahni - The insane, violent ruler of the Wastes.
• Artakha - The wise and powerful former ruler of the island of his own name. Now resides in the Forge of Artakha, located somwhere in the Wastes.
• Makuta Miserix - Former leader of the Brotherhood of Makuta, and one of the last surviving Makuta in existence. Now resides somewhere in the galaxy, seeking vengeance on Emperor Teridax for usurping him and destroying their kind.
  

Locations

The Great Spirit Robot

The home of the Matoran Universe, now piloted by Emperor Teridax and used to imprison the Matoran now forced to serve him, as well as a base of operations for Teridax's regime.

The Vault

The galaxy's most secure vault, housing powerful artifacts and dangerous prisoners alike. Owned by Emperor Teridax and run by Nektann, who acts as both the warden of the prisoners and the overseer of all artifacts in the emperor's possession.

The Wastes

The destroyed remnants of Bara Magna. Hostile and violent, it has become the new kingdom of Karzahni and his forces and the home to a select few survivors such as Gali.

The Forge of Artakha

The broken remains of the island of Artakha, ejected from the Great Spirit Robot after The Fall. Now found somewhere in the vastness of the Wastes, known only as a myth to those who search for it.

Trivia

• A orignal concept for the ET universe was instead a Transformers AU known as Emperor Shockwave, which saw Shockwave win in IDW's Dark Cybetron event and take control of Cybertron. Emperor Shockwave was later discontinued, but elements of the story were later adapted into a BIONICLE universe after Kogan wondered what might've happened had Teridax won the Battle of Bara Magna, and liked the concept enough to continue with it.
• The title of EMPEROR TERIDAX is in all caps to be reminiscent of how the BIONICLE logo is also stylized in all caps.
