Dortan is a Glykovian and the replacement to Botar within the Order of Mata Nui.

Biography

After Botar died, Dortan was recruited as a member of the Order of Mata Nui to replace Botar and his duties and became "The New Gatherer of the Fallen."

He went to the Southern Continent with Krakua to search for Axonn to bring him back to Daxia to prepare for the Order's war against the Brotherhood of Makuta. They were ambushed by Axonn, but Krakua was able to convince him that they were his allies. Dortan then teleported himself, Krakua and Axonn to Daxia.

Later, he accompanied Helryx and a four-arm member to confront The Shadowed One and his fleet of Dark Hunters to stop him from destroying the island.

During the war, he was assigned to go to the Northern Continent and assist the Order members operating the island. He is specifically waiting for a Makuta named Wrekan to be defeated and then sent to eternity in prison as soon as this is accomplished.

He assisted in the Order's efforts during the Destiny War, but ultimately lost when Teridax seized control of the Matoran Universe at Mata Nui's awakening. After the Makuta's defeat and death during the Battle of Bara Magna, Dortan, along with the rest of the Matoran Universe, migrated onto Spherus Magna.

Abilities and Traits

As a Glykovian, and like Botar, Dortan had the ability to teleport himself and other beings to wherever he desired. He could also create great tendrils of energy in order to bind his ward. Also as a member of the Order of Mata Nui, he had the ability to mentally shield himself from telepathy and mental attacks.

As with Botar, he was tall, lean and adorned in gold armor. He also had the uncanny ability to know whom to teleport and where.
