Pocket dimension filled with horrifying monsters and teeming with disturbing mental effects which was used to imprison disobedient Makuta by Teridax (Spherus Imperus).
History[]
The Domain of Strife was supposedly created by Teridax in conjunction with the Olmak (Spherus Imperus) before the mask was lost as a way to punish disobedient Makuta in his Brotherhood. It was a means to consolidate his power, although it is unknown whether Teridax truly created the dimension or whether this is merely his own boasts and the Olmak simply gave him the ability to teleport other beings into it.
What is known, by trace accounts of survivors, is that the dimension is filled with horrific abominations, most of which possess the ability to drive anyone merely looking at them insane. These abominations hunt the foreign beings of the dimension and intend to consume their spirits, thus dooming them to be trapped to the Domain until the end of time. There have been a total of eighty Makuta sent to the Domain, with only a few having returned alive, one of them being Kortarex, and it is thought that three more are still there.
The Domain is still a tool used by Teridax, although in recent times he has taken to imprisoning captured Toa and Matoran to break their mental barriers, enabling him to take the information he wants from them much more easily. It is thought that Korlas once explored the domain, although this information is based on heresay and statements by the few returning survivors, most of whom's mental state is a factor in the consideration of their credibility.

The Domain has several reported and rumored features:
- Abominable beasts which possess tentacles, compound eyes, and other disturbing features
- Impossible geometry which makes those trapped lose their bearings very easily
- Odd, perpetually burning campfires which have green flames
- Living skulls as a part of the landscape which scream upon seeing any foreign beings
- An unknown monster, ten meters tall, which appears to be similar to a dragon and is said to be an example of an Exclusivity Singularity, although can travel between dimensions
- Rain of yellow liquid with the consistency of oil and pH of acid
