The Death Hammer is a weapon used by Donakh.
Description[]
The two sides of the Death Hammer's head is carved with an image that Donakh claims was in the Matoran birthing chamber. These images are made of stone, and thus he is capable of channeling his power through them. The hammer is built on a long wooden pole.
History[]
Donakh originally created the head of the Death Hammer while working in Karzahni, with the skull images serving as a reminder of what happened earlier in his life. He brought it with him to the Southern Continent. When he transformed into a Toa, he was given a pair of blades to use, but he forsook these in favor of remaking his Death Hammer as a Toa-sized weapon.
Example Usage[]
In his signature Deathquake attack, Donakh channels his elemental power through the head of his Death Hammer. He then strikes the ground with the powered head. On his own level, the impact causes a large rumbling earthquake that knocks most enemies off of their feet, and sometimes knocks Donakh off his feet as well. On the larger scale, the intensity of the earthquake sometimes opens up seams in the Mata Nui Robot, causing unintended environmental effects.
