The Kanohi Crua is the Mask of Mania. It is an immoral mask, and it is classified as a Psionics power.
The Kanohi Crua sends a target into a ferocious, Rahi-like frenzy, where they will attack friend and foe alike. The effects last either until the mask’s wearer is rendered unconscious, or until the target is.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Crua was one such mask, created at the behest of a warlord in the southern island chains. Within months of its wider discovery, almost every governing body in the universe declared the mask's power to be immoral and its usage to be outlawed.
