Corrosive Lightning is a highly destructive power.
Description[]
Corrosive lightning is unique in how it works. What appears to be happening when it is used is that greenish lightning bolts are being fired by the user, which dissolve anything they touch into a greenish vapor.
What is actually at play are two types of subatomic particles. First, electrons. They function to give the Corrosive Lightning its electrical properties. They allow the energy to look like electricity even when it is more, and also to allow the energy to conduct along metallic substances.
Second is a type of subatomic particle only present in this power. The user can conjure these somehow and interlace them with the electrons. What the second particle does is infiltrate the electron shell of an atom and interfere with the attraction between the e- and the p+, disintegrating the atoms. The electrons are sent off at a consistent speed with all atoms, the precise speed at which they produce green light. Also, the lightning appears green since these particles also disintegrate the air inside the lightning bolt, again causing a greenish glow.
This power is highly destructive and extremely hard to defend against. Of note is that the electrons' charge keeps the secondary particles in line, so if the electric part of Corrosive Lightning is redirected by a controller of Lightning, then the secondary particles are also redirected, meaning a Lightning user can defend against this power better than most.
