Chiras was a Vo-Matoran who become a Toa of Lightning shortly after the end of the-Toa Dark Hunter War, tasked with guarding the newly built island sized power-plant of Alta Nui. After its destruction, she wandered the Matoran Universe, forever haunted by her failings.
History[]
Early Life[]
Chiras was of a later generation of Matoran, being "born" long after Mata Nui departed from the fragmented Spherus Magna. From creation, Chiras inhabited Ga-Metru, working as an engineer tasked with maintaining the districts power stations. The mundanity and security of her life came to an end with the start of the Matoran Civil War. At first, while Ga-Metru attempted to remain neutral, Chiras and other Matoran engineers worked to make Ga-Metru's power grid independent of the rest of the city, a task which they succeeded in, allowing Ga-Metru to have a sense of normalcy during the conflict. As the war went on, however, Ga-Metru could no longer stay neutral and joined Ta-Metru and Onu-Metru against Po-Metru, Le-Metru, and Ko-Metru. She was conscripted along with many other Matoran engineers to maintain infrastructure that had suffered from the conflict. As a Vo-Matoran, her specialty was anything electrical; her duties were to set up and maintain electrical equipment as well as repair damaged electric infrastructure, a result of the violent fighting. Her job position meant that she did not have to see the frontlines or combat. For her, she saw the aftermath of such battles, having to make something functional out of the ruin. It was not uncommon to uncover corpses, civilian and military, buried in the rubble. After the war ended, Chiras continued with the reconstruction of Metru Nui's electrical infrastructure.
With most of her life having been spent in a warzone, Chiras had trouble adjusting back to the way things were. Even though the war had ended, tensions remained high. TBA
