Chief Justicar

Chief Justicars are Justicars of high rank in The Order of Justicars. They are the senior members of the Order, having the option to participate in the Council of Justicars. The current Mata Nui is often a Chief Justicar as well.

History

When the Order of Justicars was formed, the Glatorian who were it's founding members organized themselves into ranks based upon skill in combat, peacekeeping, and being effective leaders. The Cheif Justicars were the original highest rank in the Order, until the Council was formed, and the Council started to elect Justice Commanders to head the Council. Almost all the Cheif Justicars are heroes in their own right, having proven themselves to be the best of the Order, and often are the oldest as well.

Trivia

• Cheif Justicars came first, then The Council of Justicars, then the Justicar Commander.
• Not all Cheif Justicars are members of The Council of Justicars, joining the Council is an optional choice that varies from Cheif Justicar to Cheif Justicar. The choice does not have to be final for those who opt out of joining the Council. Often, due to age a Cheif Justicar may 'retire' and join the Council.
• When not members of the Council, a Cheif Justicar will often be found heading Regional offices for the Order of Justicars.
• The number of Cheif Justicars number in the higher hundreds.
