Bloam is a Rahkshi of Darkness and loyal henchman to the Makuta, FlashFire, currently residing within Sanction Island.
History[]
Creation[]
Bloam was created in the well of Energized Protodermis underneath Sanction Island by the Makuta, FlashFire, when he dipped Bloam's kraata into the pool. Bloam would then be tasked with aiding FlashFire in his day to day duties as well as protect his lab and by extension, the island itself.
Personality & Traits[]
Being dependent on FlashFire's well-being for his own existence, Bloam is fiercely loyal and protective of his master. On his own, Bloam is reported to have an interest in history, myths, and science perhaps due to the nature of his creator.
Since Rahkshi are not known to communicate in the conventional way, not much else is known about Bloam personally. Luckily, he has recently obtained a voicebox that he can use to talk with others.
Bloam seems to be indifferent to others' plights and this seems to paint him as a loner or uncaring but really Bloam is not much of a problem solver. Being under the direct control of his Makuta master, has made Bloam obedient and lacking much free thought. Bloam does however have an underlying desire to meet more of his species and become more independent.
Powers & Tools[]
Being a Rahkshi of Darkness, Bloam has control over shadows and other powers related to darkness. However, Bloam relies on his staff of darkness to channel his power and without it, he can not use his darkness powers.
Bloam's handgun, Salted Magnum.
Bloam, like other Rahkshi, can also hover and traverse at an accelerated rate. Other than that, Bloam also has his Salted Magnum. It is a strange pistol-like weapon with a bi-pod and scope allowing it to be used like a miniature sniper. But, like its namesake, it is more efficiently used like a revolver.
Trivia[]
- The Salted Magnum is a modified version of a double-barreled pistol FlashFire stole from a Matoran named Kiji.
- Ironically, Bloam can not sleep at night with the lights off.
- What look like regular gold pieces on Bloam are actually exposed conductors that help give Bloam a good jolt when he is low on energy or needs a pick me up. His feet are used like grounders which allow him to discharge energy as well. His tail can be used as a lightning rod.
- Bloam's tail also helps him control himself when he is hovering by acting sort of like a rudder.
