The Black Void is a pocket dimension attached to the prime reality.
History[]
It is unknown when the Black Void dimension came into being and who or what created it. It was in existence when Akatark, Toa of Time, decided to create a fortress that floated through it as a base for the Society of Guardians.
Nothing else is known about it other than Akatark himself has yet to explore all of it.
Landscape[]
The pocket dimension is virtually desolate. There is breathable air in the void, though there appears to be no actual landmass other than large chunks of rock that float through the gravity-free dimension. There are distant points of light that appear similar to stars, though exactly what these lights are is unknown. There are also massive clouds of dust and gas that float through the void, similar to nebula clouds found in deep space.
The Fortress of Ages is the only known artificial structure in the dimension.
