Title | Mask of Perfection |
Powers | Perfected a user's action |
Composite Disks | Teleport, Reconstitute at Random, Two Weaken |
Pronunciation | ah-vel |
The Kanohi Auvel was the Mask of Perfection. It allowed its user to perform an action without flaw, as long as said action was possible to perform at the time. Only relatively simple actions could be perfected, although with practice one could expand the variety of actions they could perfect. After use, regardless of whether or not it had activated correctly, the mask's power would be unavailable for around a minute. Repeated use of the mask's power in a short amount of time put mental strain on the user and decreased the mask's chances of working as intended.
Notably, the mask required more focus to use than other Kanohi. Putting an insufficient amount of focus into using the mask would often cause unintended events to occur. More often than not, these events proved hazardous to both others and the user.
Example Usage[]
In The Feral Plains/Volume V, Vandir used his Great Auvel to dodge an attack from Detras.
Wearers[]
Great[]
- Toa Vandir
Trivia[]
- Among Toa, the mask was controversial, as some considered it immoral due to its only drawback being the severe and harmful consequences of its misuse.
- Fitting with the origins of Vandir's name (and thus the Nordic inspirations of Leskya Nui), the mask's name is derived from auðvelt, an Icelandic word which translates to "easy."
