Auria was a Toa of Psionics and astronomer residing in the Astray Alternate Universe.
History[]
Early Life[]
Similarly to most other Matoran, Auria began her life on Spherus Magna, where she helped in construction of the Matoran Universe. Following the completion of her task, Auria was placed in the Northern Continent, along with other Matoran. Shortly after the launch of the Great Spirit Robot, the Ce-Matoran gained true sentience due to Velika’s tampering with the Matoran Universe.
Auria worked as an astronomer, studying the stars for guidance.

During Makuta Teridax's takeover of the Matoran Universe, Auria was trapped in Metru Nui.

Later, the Great Spirit Robot was damaged heavily as a consequence of the Battle of Bara Magna, leading to the migration of all surviving species of the Matoran Universe, including Auria, to Spherus Magna.
Spherus Magna[]
Upon exiting the Matoran Universe, Auria aided in the construction of Atero Nui, choosing to live in the megacity's water district. Curious about her new surroundings, she signed onto an expedition led by the Turaga Ohri. However, Auria struggled to develop relationships with other members of the Expedition, owing to her shyness. The expedition would face several trials, such as repeated Rahi attacks; infighting amongst factions; and the disappearance of two guides. After several weeks, the group arrived at the White Quartz Mountains, where the expedition split up briefly. Auria would be assigned to Gitran's group, defending the caravans. Unfortunately, the group was attacked by Vorox scouts, who were capable of defeating stronger members of the Expedition. Bravely, Auria stood up to the Vorox, but was injured for her actions. Upon reforming, the Expedition quickly left the area, and chose to return to Atero Nui.
For her bravery, Auria was chosen to become a Toa under the Toa Magna Initiative. She trained under Toa Hagah Gaaki, and took up a similar fighting style to her mentor.

Powers and Traits[]
Auria is generally quiet and stays out of large groups. She is naturally curious, always wondering about the larger universe. Despite her timid nature, Auria possesses a short temper when provoked.
As a Matoran, Auria had inactive control over the Element of Psionics, which manifested as a resistance to outside mental influences. When she was transformed into a Toa, she gained complete access to her elemental Psionic powers, allowing her to create, control, and absorb mental energy. She could use her powers to create blasts of psychic power, but more frequently relied on telekinesis or telepathy. She was also naturally shielded from any outside mental influence.
Mask and Tools[]
Auria wore the Kanohi Rau for most of her life. She originally began wearing the mask to represent her desire to learn. As a Toa, the Rau allows her to understand any written or spoken language.
As a Toa, Auria possesses the Mystic Spear and a buckler shield.
