Artius is a Toa of Ice belonging to the Toa Hanrei.
Biography[]
Artius was originally a Ko-Matoran living on the Southern Continent. He was later transformed into a Toa of Ice by Keiro, and joined the team known as the Toa Hanrei.
At one point, they encountered the Matoran Lerui in the Desert of Sorrows, who was extremely dehydrated. The Toa Hanrei took him to Toa Ourio's clinic, where he was treated. In gratitude, Lerui revealed the existence of the island known as Ostra Nui, supposedly ruled by Makuta Nozibak. Though skeptical, Artius joined the rest of his Toa team in making plans for an investigatory expedition to the mythical island, and helped pick up supplies for a boat.
The group constructed the boat the following day and set sail. The journey lasted for five months, finally culminating as they crashed on the northern shore of the southern island. Arriving on the shores, the group was discovered by predatory Bone Bears, but Lerui, having stowed away with them, managed to subdue the Rahi.
The Toa Hanrei later split up and Artius traveled to the snowy northeast of the northern island and built the city of Ko-Ostra.
Powers and equipment[]
As he is a Toa of Ice, he can control, create and absorb ice or snow, and possesses a natural resistance to extreme cold. He wields an Energized Ice Sword and an Ice Shield.
Personality and traits[]
Artius often wants others to believe he doesn't need help, though as a matter of fact, he relies on others more often than not. He likes to take charge and often finds himself leading the Toa in the right direction, which is usually the opposite of what Tohrik intends.
