Arraya is a female Toa Nuva of plasma residing in the Blinded alternate Universe.
Biography[]
Similarly to most other Toa of Plasma, Arraya began her life as a Su-Matoran on Spherus Magna. For a number of years, she aided in the early construction of the Matoran Universe with no worldly desires or true consciousness. Surprisingly for a Su-Matoran, however, she was created as a female. This odd occurrence was a result of the Great Beings desiring to experiment with the genders of the Matoran species, mismatching a number of Matoran from their elements. However, the genders were eventually finalized and, as such, Arraya was one of the few female Su-Matoran to have been created.
After a considerable period of heavy labor, she was placed on an unknown island in the Matoran Unvierse, along with a number of other Matoran, endeavoring to carry out her purpose by maintaining her settlement to ensure the continued functionality of the Great Spirit.
Shortly after the successful launch of the Matoran Universe, Arraya gained true sentience due to Velika's tampering with the Matoran species. Although she continued her original task, Arraya was thus imbued with emotions and became self-aware.

As a Su-Matoran, Arraya had a natural resistence to heat, as well as inaccessible plasma power. As a Toa, she could control her elemental power and could activate the powersof Kanohi. These powers were enhanced upon her transformation into a Toa Nuva. She carried with her a Great Plasma Axe which amplified her powers and stored it's own plasma energy. She initially wore a great Kaukau, a great mask of water breathing, which allowed her to breathe water for an indifinite amount of time. This mask was upgraded to it's Nuva variant, allowing her to now share her power with others.
Personality[]
Colder than any toa of ice could ever hope to be, Arraya is a warrior of few words and even fewer friends. Preferring to speak through her actions, she isn't one to waste time talking, often only speaking through grujnts and brief responses. Despite this negative outward persona she conveys, she is surprisingly rather caring of those that she actually does consider friends. Her loyalty and compassion towards her comrades has led her to put herself in harm's way on their behalf on numerous occasions, with her fiery temper often sparking when she feels her allies are being threatened in any way, whether it be physical or verbal. This, of course, has led her to become rather impulsive, sometimes needlessly aggravating an otherwise calm situation. Amongst her team, she shares her closest bond with Minara, as the two have become involved in a relationship.
