Aritauk is a Toa of Plantlife and member of the Breath of Mata Nui.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Aritauk was created as a Bo-Matoran by the Great Beings to aid in the construction of the Great Spirit Robot. He was later settled in the Tren Krom Peninsula.
Breath of Mata Nui[]
Very late in Aritauk's career as a Toa, he was apprached by Kwulaguo to join the Breath of Mata Nui. The operation was expanding significantly, and a being skilled both in traversing dense jungle terrain and in understanding Rahi beasts was needed. It took some convincing, but as Aritauk was not defending any one set island or Matoran settlement, he had few other options and agreed to at least give Kwulaguo a chance. However, once he actually saw the estate - much of it land he would potentially have free reign to explore and manage - he leapt at the opportunity.
Return to Spherus Magna[]
Following the restoration of the planet Spherus Magna, Aritauk and the rest of the Breath of Mata Nui were forced to abandon their forests and relocate to the new world. There, they began to establish a new estate to heal those wounded in the Battle of Bara Magna.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Toa of Plantlife, Aritauk can create, control, and absorb plant life. This allows him to sprout plants all around and manipulate them to suit his needs. Like his colleagues Toa Whekto and Domiu, Aritauk uses his elemental powers to enrich the environment of the Breath of Mata Nui's land, stimulating all plant growth so that its life force can be harvested and put to good use.
Paraphernalia[]
Aritauk's back is fitted with a Vine Pack, through which he can effortlessly command the long tendrils of plantlife as if they were extra limbs. He wears a Kanohi Kaukau, the Great Mask of Water Breathing, which is useful for monitoring algae and Rahi fish in the many pools and small lakes within the Breath of Mata Nui's estate.
