Aratakhas is an island in the North East of the Great Spirit Robot that broke off from Zivot after the Great Cataclysm. The island is uninhabited by Matoran. The Council of Kehidupan has placed a protection order on the island, destroying most records of its existence.
History[]
Aratakhas was formed during the Great Cataclysm War, when a fragment of Zivot broke away from the main island. Many Rahi that survived the Great Cataclysm remained on the island.
At some point after the War, Artakha moved to the island to avoid his creations being targeted. He asked Karzahni to remove all information about the island. Although many Ga-Matoran sailors are aware of the island, they deny its existence.
"Shadowplayer" frequently visited the island to talk to Artakha, whom he mentored before the Great Cataclysm War.
20 years later, Crescent, "Shadowplayer" and Yunak battled on the island before the former kidnapped Artakha. Wira, Suram and Helryx later travel to the island, searching for Artakha's hut. They briefly fight off a pack of Krahlj before returning to Zivot with the news that the Masks of Creation, Dimensional Travel and Time were gone.
Landscape[]
Aratakhas is covered in a dense forest, from coast to coast. The climate is wet and usually storming, though the rainforest provides cover. There is a clearing the centre of the island.

Artakha's hut[]
In the clearing, there is a hut where Artakha lived prior to his kidnapping by the Infernal Legion. Behind the hut is a metal storage shed, with no lock. The doors only open when Artakha grabs the handle. Artakha keeps his creations inside the shed.
Rainforest[]
As most of the island is covered in a thick rainforest, there are many Rahi who make home under the trees. Some remnants of Matoran settlements can be found scattered throughout the rainforest.
