Aquarix is a Toa of water. She was mutated in the Pit and later made an alliance with the Order of Mata Nui.
Biography[]
Aquarix was once a Ga-Matoran who lived on Metru Nui, eventually becoming bored and leaving Ga-Metru in her boat, seeking adventure.
She stumbled upon the isle of Spinia in her boat, where two Spinian tribes were at war. She found she was not welcome on Spinia, but before she could leave, someone sent a telepathic message to her, telling her she should not leave.
Aquarix found a small cave far away from the main tribes, and decided to sleep in it for the night. While she was asleep, someone else came in, put something down next to her, and teleported away. When she woke up the next morning, she discovered that she was a Toa.
Before she could react to her new appearance, Aquarix was taken to Daxia by the Order of Mata Nui, and was told that she needed to go down into the Pit to find a shadow Toa called Cydraz. Upon arriving in the Pit, Aquarix was mutated.
She continued her search for Cydraz, which took her all over the Pit. At some point, she took a Cordak blaster for herself. Aquarix eventually found Cydraz, but was defeated. Before Cydraz could kill her, he was knocked out by an Order member, Eklektikon, and a mutated Makuta. Eklektikon opened a dimensional portal, and they returned to Daxia.
Aquarix went back for Cydraz, but found that he had escaped. She used her Faxon to allow her to breathe air while the Order performed experiments on her that made her amphibious.
Powers and equipment[]
Aquarix controls the elemental power of water. She uses a Razor Tentacle and a Cordak blaster, and also has sharp fangs.
Personality and traits[]
Aquarix was unusual among Ga-Matoran in that instead of being the gentle peace-making type, she went off seeking adventure and often got herself into life-threatening situations. Many Ga-Matoran thought she was a little strange, and most of her friends were in fact other types of Matoran.
She does not go by the title of Toa very much, as she has been mutated, and, although she is a Toa of Water, her mutation caused her to lose her healing abilities.
