Biography

Not much is known about Altrin's life as a Matoran, other than the fact that he was created about three thousand years after the creation of the Mata Nui Robot. The Great Beings, without the knowledge of Tornak, created the San-Matoran and placed him in Daxia, to work for the Makuta. A few short years later, Altrin was approached by a mysterious Toa of Light wearing the Kanohi Vahi, who gave him a Toa Stone and disappeared. The Toa Stone caused Altrin to become the one and only Toa of Blood in the entire Universe.

Powers and Abilities

As a Toa of Blood, Altrin could create, manipulate, and absorb the exceedingly rare element of Blood. His Nova Blast releases a wave a weakness, either weakening or killing anyone in a five-mile radius, but, because of its destructive tendancies, he avoids using it at all costs. Altrin also has limited Healing powers, as shown in Shadowed.

Weapons and Equipment

Altrin wears the Kanohi Freynak, the Mask of Charisma. It enables him to subtly influence a listener's mind, causing them to understand, if not believe, his opinion and its relevance. However, the Freynak cannot actually force anyone to believe anything. Altrin also carries a Cordak Blaster and his own specialized sword, Bloodseeker. Whenever Bloodseeker cuts a foe, it absorbs some of the enemy's life force and feeds it to the user.

• The name for the Mask of Charisma in this article, the Kanohi Freynak, is a fanon name for an actual Kanohi in the canon Matoran Universe.
