Akuro was an eccentric Ta-matoran on the island of Treka Nui.
Biography[]
Akuro lived all of his life on Treka Nui. From the start, he was a quirky Ta-matoran, as he was terrified of the mask forges on the island. Instead, he wished he was a Le-matoran, as his greatest dream was flight. Since he could not get a job as a pilot, he instead kept to himself and invented. He is known for a catastrophic mechanical Gukko design that set fire to the village of Le-Runi. After this, he was banned from inventing and was hired as a messanger and carrier for Ta-Runi.
Upon the arrival of the Toa Eras, Akuro assisted ToaMakto in perfecting his flight technique, and in return earned great respect from him. Later, he would finally perfect his wing design an save the lives of many matoran in the battle with the Black Dragon of Oromis. This would finally earn him respect in the eyes of the other Matoran. Eventually, Makto would appoint him as a cantidate for Toa , but Poharu stopped him, saying that Akuro's destiny lay elsewhere.
Abilties and Traits[]
Being a Ta-matoran, Akuro has a miniscule amount of control over fire. Unlike other Ta-matoran, he is quite terrified of mask-making forges and avoids them at all costs. He is more like Le-matoran in the sense that he loves to fly and loves heights. he can sometimes seem rude, because he is never really paying attention to the present. He will always pull through in a crisis, as seen when he saved the Matoran from the Black Dragon.
Mask and Weapons[]
Akuro carries a Tri-bladed claw, representing the talon of a bird. He uses a bladed wing deign that allows flight and, in extreme cases, can be used as a weapon. The name of the mask he wears is unknown, but it is presumably a powerless Matoran version.
