The Kanohi Agamai is the Mask of Pyricity. Its usage is widespread, and it is classified as a Fire power.

It allows the user to temporarily transform themselves into an elemental being of pure fire. In this state, only the mask remains in its original form, though the user keeps their shape. They can project themselves like a fireball, melt through metals and set other objects alight.

However, the user must be careful not to overextend and dissipate themselves, or get lost inside another source of fire.

History

As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.

The Kanohi Agamai was one such mask.

Though it was not an uncommon mask, would-be bearers soon learned that using it in a Ta-Wahi was a very dangerous, possibly lethal idea, as being too close to any large source of fire, heat or accelerants could cause their fire elemental form to dissipate.

Tundra Universe

Following the unwilling settlement of Polus Magna by the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe, the Kanohi Agamai fell out of use. Its power was incredibly limited on the frozen planet's surface, and inside the various settlements, bearers would often by kidnapped and held in stasis for the heat they gave off.

Magellan Universe

Due to the nature of the delicate spacecraft they now traversed the universe in, the Kanohi Agamai was considered too dangerous for use, and all of them confiscated by most colonies.

• The Kanohi Agamai was created for BIONICLE Generations, first appearing in the Kanohi Guidebook released on April 3rd 2020.
• This mask's power is an indirect reference to Marvel's Human Torch.
