The Kanohi Aernis is the Mask of Transmutation. It allows the user to convert a solid substances into another. The mask worked best on metallic or other nonorganic substances. While it could work on living materials, it was much more difficult to do so. Additionally, if an object was composed of two distinct substances, it could only transmute one at a time. The only difference between the great and noble version is the speed of the transmutation.
