Aerix was a member of the Brotherhood of Makuta in the Matoran universe.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Like all Makuta, Aerix was created early in the history of the Matoran world as a part of the Brotherhood of Makuta, the job of its members being to create Rahi to populate the universe. However, its leader, Miserix, later expanded the organization into a force of protectors guarding each of the various islands. It is unknown which island Aerix was assigned to.
When Teridax declared his plans to conquer the world and overthrew Miserix, Aerix sided with him.
Karda Nui mission[]
In 1,001 AGC, he, Razarix, Nazak, and Vertex were sent to Karda Nui to retrieve the Kazerix, legendary mask of distortion, where the Makuta fought Atraks and his allies. The team of Makuta were eventually defeated, and following Nazak's apparent death, Aerix became their new leader.
Island Illusion[]
The three members of the group were in the Empire of Light universe when Teridax killed all other Makuta during his conquest of the Matoran world. When they returned, they discovered that Spherus Magna was reformed. Nazak, who had survived the energy storms, reappeared, nearly killing Aerix for leaving him in the Swamp.
When Nazak was killed by Atraks, Aerix became the leader of the Legion of Darkness.
Abilities and Traits[]
Aerix, like all Makuta, possesses the power of Shadow, as well as absorption and the 42 Kraata powers. His essence is made of Antidermis, allowing him to enter the bodies of others. He possesses armor created by the Nynrah Ghosts, allowing him to shapeshift.

He carries two Vahki staffs and wears the Kanohi Shadatis.
