The Advanced Midak Skyblaster Version 3, often shortened AMS V3, is an illegally adapted version of the Midak Skyblaster designed by the Nynrah Ghosts.
History[]
The Advanced Midak Skyblaster Version 3 was created on request by the Nynrah Ghosts for the Dark Hunters. While the Dark Hunters manufactured the weapon to an extent, much of the manufacturing was done in Xia, with many of the blasters conveniently disappearing into the hands of other criminals. Though the weapon was largely outlawed for possession by regular civilians, it could be widely found in places such as Stelt and the Southern Island Chains.
Design and Operation[]
Like the original Midak Skyblaster before it, the Advanced Midak Skyblaster Version 3 is capable of firing spheres of Light energy. The upgrades to the weapon have given it the ability to channel the user’s elemental power into bolts, should the user have any elemental energy. If the user's power is that of Light, the Skyblaster’s natural light spheres can be increased in power.
The AMS V3 also comes equipped with several attachments. One of these attachments is an explosive boomerang, which can be detached and thrown. If left attached, the boomerang could be used as another handle for the weapon. Another attachment is a device which allows spheres or bolts fired from the weapon to lock on to targets. However, this targeting device does take time to reset after usage, rendering it temporarily useless after firing.
