Early History[]
As a Vo-Matoran, Adex was built by the great beings to operate the Mata nui spirit robot. In his early life, he lived in the city of Micoro on the Tren Krom Peninsula, working as an apprentice alongside Kota under the nynrah ghost, Pez. When Micoro was destroyed at the end of the League of 6 Kingdoms War, Adex evacuated with the rest of people of Micoro to Raena Nui. In the chaos, he was separated from Kota and Pez, ending up alone in the port city of Amarae believing that his friends didn't make it out of Micoro before the fall.
Life in Raena Nui[]
Adex would live in Amare for a while drifting from one job to the next. Like many, he was still in shock from the destruction of Micoro and the supposed loss of his friends and mentor. Eventually he would befriend a hardened Toa-Chronicler named Corvus who took him under his wing and appointed the lost matoran his apprentice Chronicler. Adex would flourish in this role, always seeking out new stories to chronicle from the many traders, artisans, and mercenaries that would pass through the great port city. Adex would also learn of that Kota was in fact alive and living in Yafeiro, restarting their friendship though it had been strained by time. For the next 50,000 years, things went well for Adex as the island became a beacon of prosperity.
Three Centuries Anarchy[]
The Sundering war[]
The time of prosperity was suddenly cut short when the island was cut off, sundered from the rest of the matoran universe. When the truth of the matoran universe was revealed to the people of Raena, the island fell into a civil war, the sundering war. When Adex was called up to fight for his koro, Corvus volunteered in his place in order to protect his friend and shield him from the horrors of war that he had faced himself during the Barraki Wars. Adex would protest, but he would accept his friend’s decision.
Civic Collapse[]
When the isles were thrown into chaos following the calamitous destruction of Bo-Wahi, Port Amarae was not spared from the chaos. Street fighting lasted for nearly ten weeks and the city was greatly damaged. Then the Skakdi Warlords conquered much of the mainland enforcing their brutal disorder to the isles. Unable to take Port Amare in a direct assault, they decided set siege to the island city instead. Adex helped in the defense effort, designing and building fortifications and keeping morale up by writing short stories detailing the heroics of several exemplary matoran. Despite their heroic defense, the island city was soon low on supplies. Desperate, the city sent Adex and two others on a mission to the mainland to help smuggle supplies in from the free north. During this mission, Adex was captured by Skakdi Slavers after sacrificing himself so that the other and the supplies could make it to Port Amarae. He was brutalized before being put to work in the Adanare labor camp. Even there, he would keep his and his fellow laborers' spirits up by coming up with stories, satires, and jokes of all kinds, never giving into cynicism or losing hope. Eventually, word of Adex’s capture made its way to Corvus, who was fighting for the Raena Black League. Without the permission of his superiors, he would embark on one man mission to save his Adex and the other matoran from the labor camp.
Personality[]
During his times as a matoran, he was rather young and adventurous, a bit navie but not a fool. Always had a joke to tell, even if not the best. But be there no doubt he could be serious if the right time called... But most important of all, he'd be by your side no matter what.Toa wouldn't change too much just maybe just a bit more cocky But after he was brought back from the glimpse, he really wasn't himself anymore... The once brigh and youthful way of speach was gone... He'd become more serious and less navie. He'd overall seemed to have lost himself...But what remained was a harsh robotic tone and a handful of silly jokes
