Acritus is a Toa of Air, and a former member of Makuta Dredzek's Toa Hagah team.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Originally a native of the Tren Krom Peninsula, Acritus was once a Le-Matoran, and eventually transformed into a Toa, though he traveled alone. As a wanderer, Acritus spent hundreds of years traveling the universe, giving his aid to those in need of it. Whilst little is known of his doings during his journeys, it is known he once prevented a pack of Rock Lions from destroying a small village on one of the Southern Islands.
Toa Hagah[]
Eventually, Acritus was chosen to become part of a team of Toa by the Brotherhood of Makuta, once the group decided its members needed Toa bodyguards. Though reluctant, Acritus eventually accepted the role, and was pitted through a number of rigorous tests and trials by Makuta Dredzek to test his worth. After passing the tests, Acritus was accepted into Dredzek's Toa Hagah squad. Soon after, he was appointed the team's deputy leader.
As part of their duties, Acritus and his team attended to the matters Dredzek had no time for, such as Rahi intrusions. For the next few centuries, Acritus and his team dutifully performed their tasks, guarding Dredzek and opposing all external threats.
Death[]
After many centuries of service, Acritus and the rest of his team was betrayed and executed by Dredzek on orders of Makuta Teridax, who requested all Toa Hagah bodyguards be eliminated after his own team, lead by Norik, rebelled against him.
Like all deceased beings, Acritus was revived in the Red Star, and was supposed to be returned to continue working in the Matoran Universe. However, as the Red Star had malfunctioned, Acritus was not returned to the Matoran Universe, and instead remained in the Star.
Abilities and Traits[]
Though a very social and curious person, Acritus preferred to be left alone. This was simply because he favored the freedom of improvising his own plans, rather than following others. Initially, he did not feel comfortable working as a team with his fellow Toa Hagah, though eventually grew accustomed to the role. Acritus was very athletic, and possessed extremely keen senses and reflexes.
As a Toa of Air, Acritus could create, control, and absorb air. This also gave him the ability to control air pressure, create twisters, and summon wind storms.
Mask and Tools[]
Acritus wore the Kanohi Miru, the Great Mask of Levitation, which he could use to hover above the ground. His primary weapons were an Aero Sword and an Air Blaster, both of which he could use to channel his elemental Air powers.

- He was originally created as a Gigas Magna storyline character, though he has yet to appear in the saga.
